Mom and Dad, feeling that the family needs to spend more time together, decide that we should take a vacation… but between the itineraries, the sunburns, and the sing-alongs, the only thing relaxing about a family vacation is when they finally make it home.”

OMP Get Wet Event — FREE Prizes and Upgrades! members can beat the heat and get free memberships or upgrades during the hot summer months by attending our rooftop pool party on Saturday, July 23.

Start-Up Camera—Shoot First, Focus Later

With an innovative camera due out later this year from a company called Lytro, OneModelPlace.comphotographers will have one less excuse for having missed that perfect shot. According to Steve Lohr from, the company’s technology allows a picture’s focus to be adjusted after it is taken. While viewing a picture taken with a Lytro camera on a computer screen, you can, for example, click to bring people in the foreground into sharp relief, or switch the focus to the mountains behind them.

Ann Ward (Photos) – America’s Next Top Model Cycle 15 Winner

People watching Cycle 15 particularly Models from and the world is excited what will be the next for the new America’s Next Top Model Cycle 15 winner no other than Ann Ward. As published by, the long-legged, 6-foot, 2-inch beauty beat Chelsey Hersley to win the coveted title.

Ann is particularly memorable because of her teeny, tiny waist. At the start of the season Miss J wrapped his hands around her, and the video clip made national headlines.

“You have the smallest waist in the world,” host Tyra Banks said. “Look at that waist!”

Ann will receive an Italian Vogue cover and editorial, a year of representation from the mode agency IMG and a $100,000 Cover Girl Cosmetics contract.

Model of the Week: Christina – OneModelPlace

Another feature for this week in OneModePlace is Christina. In pursuit of giving more to the industry here’s her background in few words to the reader and to those aspiring models who looking for their shot.

Enthusiastic, effervescent Christina OMP Model #134034 has almost being modeling half of her entire life. Working in the business since she was 10 years old, the 19-year-old has made quite an impact on all the photographers she has worked with.

Christina is also familiar to many OneModelPlace members after being selected as the 2006 Teen Model of the Year and being featured in our “Day in the Life of a Teen Model” videos. After entering a fashion contest…
